       Sept the 12.th 1743  Then Came the within named Richard Owings before
       John Brice Esq.r one of his Lordship's Justices of the Provincial Court
       and acknowledged the within Deed according to the Directions of the Act of Assembly
       in such Cases Provided

       On the sixteenth Day of Sept seventeen hundred and forty three Came the
       within named Sarah Owings before us the Subscribers Two of his Lordship's Justices
       of the Peace for Ann.ll County and Acknowledged the within Deed according to the
       Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases Provided

       Reced Sept the 12.th 1743 of M.r Gideon Howard Twelve Shillings and
       four pence half penny sterling for his Lordship's use (being the Alienation
       fine on the within mentioned three hundred and Ten Acres of Land) by Virtue
       of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordship's Agent
       and receiver General

Ex.d   Maryland fs.t      This Indenture made the thirteenth
       Day of October in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and
       forty three Between Thomas Brooke Junior of Prince Georges County
       Gentleman of the one part and James Russell and James Wardrop
       of the same County Merchants of the other part Witnesseth that the
       said Thomas Brooke junior for and in Consideration of the sum of Two
       hundred and Thirty one pounds Ten shillings sterling to him in hand
       paid by the said James Russell and James Wardrop at and before
       the sealing and Delivery of these presents whereof he doth hereby acknowledge
       the Receipt and hereof and of every part thereof Doth acquit and Discharge
       the said James Russell and James Wardrop their Executors and Administ.rs
       and every of them for ever by these Presents Hath given granted Bargained
       Sold Aliened enfeoffed confirmed and made Over and by these Presents
       he the said Thomas Brook junior doth for himself and his heirs Give
       grant Bargain sell Alien enfeoffe Confirm and make Over unto the said
       James Russell and James Wardrop their heirs and Assigns forever all that
       Parcell of Land (being part of a Tract of Land Scituate in the County
