Ex.d On the twenty third Day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven
       hundred and forty two Before me William Tudman Notary and Tabellion
       Publick dwelling in London duly admitted and [illegible] and Witnesses personally
       appeared M.rs Margaret Higgison alias Higginson Widow the Daughter and
       sole Executrix of John Taillor late of the Parish of Christ Church in the County
       of Middlesex Merchant deceased (as by the Copies of the original Will and Probate
       under the Seal of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury duly proved and exemplified
       under the seal of the Office of Mayoralty of the City of London herewith
       to be produced may appear) which said Appearer in the Quality
       aforesaid Declared to have made ordained constituted and appointed and
       by these Presents Doth make ordain constitute and appoint Mess.rs John
       Galloway and Samuel Galloway of the Province of Maryland in America
       Merchants jointly and severally her true and lawful Attorneys Giving and
       hereby granting unto her said Attorneys or either of them jointly or severally
       full Power and lawfull Authority for her the said Constituant in her Name
       and for her Use (in the Quality aforesaid) to carry on prosecute receive or
       defend any suit or suits commenced or brought either in Law or Equity or
       the Name of the said John Taillor deceased as Plaintiff Complainant
       Defendant or Respondant in any Court or Courts of Law or Equity in
       the Province of Maryland aforesaid against any Person or Persons whatsoever
       indebted to the said John Taillor in his Life Time or to his Estate or against
       any Person or Persons whatsoever claiming from the said John Taillor
       or his Estate And Further for the said Constituant (in the Quality afores.d)
       in her Name and to her Use to arrest attack in the Hands Custody
       or Possession of any Person or Persons whatsoever inhabiting in
       Maryland aforesaid or elsewhere in America all and every or any
       Negroes Cattle Sum or Sums of Money Goods Wares Merchandizes
       or Effects whatsoever of or belonging to the said John
