382) Then Came Bridget Donaldson and Patrick Creagh Parties to the within Deed before me the Subscriber being one of the Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and Acknowledged the within Deed according to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and Provided Taken & Acknowledged this 7.th Day of March 1742 Robert Gordon March 9: 1742/3 Received for his Lordships use of Col.o Hammond one peny Sterling being for the Alienation Fine of the within half an Acre of Ground Benj.a Tasker In have Considered Patrick Creagh's Title to the within Land and Conceive it to be a good one D Dulany 7 sds Recorded March the 10.th 1742 Mar 9 1742 x.d Know all Men by these Presents That We Edmund Jenings of the City of Annapolis Esq.r John Ross of the same Place Esq.r and John Hepburn of Prince Georges County Esq.r are held and firmly bound unto the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary of this Province of Maryland in the full and just sum of one thousand Pounds Currency to be paid to the said Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary and his successors to which payment well and truly to be made We and every of Us ^hereby^ bind ourselves and every of us our and every of our Heirs Exec.rs Adm.rs and Assigns jointly and severally firmly by these Presents sealed with our seals and dated this ninth Day March 1742/3 The Condition of the above Obligation is such That if the above bounden Edmund Jenings which He shall continue in the Office of Secretary of Maryland shall at his own proper Cost and Charge find a supply of good and sufficient (Record) |
