       his heirs and Assigns for ever According to the true intent and
       meaning of these Presents And the said John Taillor
       doth by these Presents fully authorize and in power Daniel
       Dulany and Edmund Jenings of Maryland Esquires and
       the said John Galloway or any of them Jointly or severally to
       appear for him in or before any Court of Record Judge Justice
       or Magistrate in the Province of Maryland and this Present
       Indenture to Acknowledge according to the Laws Usage and
       Customs of the said Province in as full ample and Legall a
       manner as the sid John Taillor could do if Personally Present
       In Witness whereof the said John Taillor hath hereunto
       set his hand and seal the day and year first above written

       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was
       thus Endorst Viz.t
       Signed Sealed and Delivered
       in the Presence of us        John Dunkin

       Reced of John Galloway Two hundred and Ninety Pounds
       Sterling being the sum which he received from the within
       named Jacob Giles for the consideration money of the within

       Nov.r the 26.th 1742 Came Cap.t John Dunkin & made Oath
       on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that he saw the
       within John Taillor sign Seal and Deliver the within
       Deed & that he himself at the same time Signed as ^a^ witness
       and also saw the within Alex Kennimmouth and Sam.l Reeve
