325) Sum of ninety two Pounds Sterling being the Consideration Money within mentioned as Witness our hands Sterling Alex.r Warfield Jun.r £ 92 0 0 Abso Warfield Memd.m That on the fourteenth Day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty two Alexander Warfield & Absolute Warfield came before me the Subscriber and acknowledged the within Deed according to Law Brice Reced July the 12.th 1742 of M.r Alexander Warfield Son of John the Sum of eighteen Shillings and nine Pence Sterling for his Lordship's Use (being the Alienation Fine on the within mentioned four hundred and sixty eight Acres of Land) By Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 10 1/2 Recorded August the 6.th 1742 Ex.d This Indenture made the Eleventh Day of August Seventeen hundred and forty two Between John Galloway of Annarundel County Gentleman of the one Part and and Richard Snowden of the same County Gentleman of the other Part Whereas by Articles of Agreement quinquepartite Indented and bearing date the fifth Day of July seventeen hundred and thirty six and made between the said Richard Snowden of the first Part Edmund Jenings of the City of Annapolis Esquire of the second Part the said John Galloway of the third Part Joseph Cowman of the County afores.d Gentleman of the fo^u^rth Part and John Pritchard of the same County Gentleman of the fifth Part it was mutually Covenanted Promised and agreed upon by and between the said parties thereto and to and with the heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns of each other that they the said Richard (Snowden) |
