             On the 10.th Day of April Anno Dom 1742 Ernault Hawkins within
       named and Jane his Wife personally appeared before the Subscribers
       two of his Ldsps Justices of the Peace for Kent County and freely acknowledged
       the within Instrument of Writing made on two Sheets of Paper to be their
       Act and Deed to & for the Uses & Purposes therein therein mentioned and
       the same Jane being privately examined out of the hearing of her said
       Husband confessed that she made her Acknowledgment of the same
       willingly and freely & without being induced thereto by Fear or Threats
       of or ill usage by her husband or fear of his Displeasure In Testimony
       whereof We have hereunto set our hands the Day and Year above written

Ex.d    This Indenture Tripartite made the fourteenth Day of
       June in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty two
       between Between Alexander Warfield Junior and Absolute Warfield
       of Annarundel County Planters of the first Part Witham Marshe of
       Annarundel County Gentleman of the second Part and Alexander Warfield
       Son of John of Annarundel County Planter of the third Part Whereas a
       common recovery was had and suffered at a Provincial Court held at
       Annapolis the second Tuesday of October in the Year of our Lord one
       thousand seven hundred and forty one Before Levin Gale Esq.r
       chief Justice and his Associates Justices of the same Court of a tract of
       Four hundred and sixty eight Acres of Plantable Land in Annarundel
       County called Venison Park bounded as followeth Beginning
       at the End of the sixteenth Course which said Course is expressed to
       be East by North twenty Perches East South East one hundred sixty four
       Perches then South South East seventy two Perches thence East South
       East sixty two Perches thence East by South eighty five Perches
