       At the foot of the aforegoing Power of Attorney was thus indorst (Viz.t)

       On the 10.th Day of July ^Anno Dom^ 1742 Personally appeared before me the Subscriber
       one of his Lordships the right honble the Lord Proprys Justices of the Prov.l Court of the
       Province aforesaid the above named James Hall who made Oath on the holy
       Evangelists of Almighty God that he saw the above named William Black sign
       seal and deliver the above and within Power of Attorney as his Act and Deed for the
       Use therein mentioned & that at the same time William Finch the other Subscribing
       Evidence was present and subscribed his name thereto as a Witness in presence
       of the said James Hall                        Sworn to the Day and Year abovesaid
       Recorded July the 13.th 1742               before                   Brice

Ex.d This Indenture trypartite made this tenth Day of April Anno Dom
       one thousand seven hundred and forty two Between Ernault Hawkins of
       Queen Annes County in the Province of Maryland Planter and Jane his Wife
       of the first Part Joshua George of Cacil County in the same province of the second
       Part and James Calder of Kent County ^ of the third part^ Witnesseth that for and in Consideration
       of the sum of five thousand Pounds of Tobacco by the same Joshua George already
       paid to the same Ernault and Jane the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and
       for diverse other good Causes & Considerations the af.d Parties hereunto moving It is
       hereby covenanted granted concluded and agreed upon by and between all the said
       Parties to these presents for themselves and their heirs That the said Ernault Hawkins
       and Jane his Wife shall and will before the End of April Provincial Term
       next ensuing the Date hereof acknowledge and levy in due form of Law according
       to the Laws and Statutes of England and this Province one fine Sur Conusand
       de dreit conre ceo &c.a to be ingrossed recorded and sued forth with Proclamation
       according to the Laws and Statutes in such Case provided and the
       usual Course of fines with Proclamations in such Case used unto the same
       Joshua George and his heirs Assigns of all that Tract of Plantable
                                                                                        (Land)
