       on board the said Vessel called the Carolina to wit Thirty Tonns of
       Pig Iron and One hundred and sixty five Hogsheads of Maryland
       leaf Tobacco being marked and Numbred as is described in
       the schedule hereunto annexed the said Thirty Tonns of Pig
       Iron and One hundred and sixty five Hogsheads of Maryland
       Leaf Tobacco To Have and to hold unto him the said Captain
       Richard Gill his Heirs and Assignes for Ever to the only Proper
       Use and behoofe of him the said Captain Richard Gill his Heirs
       and Assignes for Ever and I the said Taillor Higginson do by the
       Presents the above bargained premisses unto the said Cap.t
       Richard Gill covenant against the Claim of me my Heirs and
       all other Persons to warrant and for Ever defend and that I
       have full power and Lawfull Authority of the above bargained
       Premisses in Manner & form aforesaid to sell and dispose
       In Witness whereof I have unto these Presents set my hand and
       affixed my Seal this 19.th Day of October 1741
Sealed & Delivered in the Presence of
The Words (by) & (have) were interlined      Taillor Higginson   Seal
on the other side before the signing and
Delivery hereof                           At the foot of the aforegoing Bill
       Margaret Cromwell            of Sale was the following Receipt
       Jacob Clawson               and Probate Viz.t
                     Oct.r 19.th 1741   Reced of Cap.t Richard Gill the Sum of
       Eight hundred Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain in
       full for the within Iron and Tobacco by me

       November the 7.th 1741 Then Came Jacob Clawson one of the
       subscribing Evidences to the within & above Bill of Sale before
       me one of his Lordships the Right Honble the Lord Propry his
       Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and Made Oath
       on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that he saw the said
       Taillor Higginson therein named Sign Seal and Deliver
       the Same as his Act and Deed for the Uses therein mentioned
       And likewise makes Oath that he saw Margaret Cromwell
       the other Subscribing Evidence (who is since Dead) Sign her
