The above are abstracts from John Taillor's own Original Letters to Taillor

John Taillors own hand Writing with which Im well acquainted having
had several Letters from him & seen many others to other people And I am
clearly of opinion that these Letters sufficiently Impowerd the said
Taillor Higginson to Sell the Negroes & Stock of the s.d John Taillor
& that the Purchasers having paid their money are very safe but I
would advise that the Letters themselves or at least the above parts
of them may be Registred together with the Affidavits of such people
of Credit as are acquainted with John Taillors hand Writing for the
security of the Purchasers of the s.d Taillors Negroes
