25 Ex.d Shipt in Good Order & well Conditioned by Brown & Coulter of Annapolis in Maryland Merch.ts in & upon the Good Sloop Called the Whim Whereof is Master for the Present Voyage John Gaff now riding at Anchor in the Harbour of Annapolis and bound for the Island Madera to say One thousand Eight Hundred and fifty Bushells Wheat twelve Barrells of Pork four hundred & fifty pipe Staves and three hundred & Eighteen foot Oak Plank on the proper Account and Risque of the said Shippers and are to be delivered in the like good Order & well Conditioned at the aforesaid Island of Madeira (the Danger of the Seas only Excepted) unto Mess.rs Walter and Robert Scott Merch.ts there or to their Assignes he or they paying freight for the said Goods In Witness whereof the Master of the said Sloop hath affirmed unto two Bills of Lading of this Date One of which Bills being accomplished the other to stand Void Dated in Annapolis in Maryland this fourth Day of December Anno Domini 1736 Jn.o Gaff Recorded Dec.r 20.th 1737 Ex.d This Indenture made this twenty Eighth Day of December Anno Domini One thousand Seven hundred and thirty seven Between William Jennings of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one Part and Robert Kendrick of the same County and Province af.d Weaver of the other Part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the Sum of Nineteen pounds Current Money of Maryland to him the said William Jenings in hand paid or secured to be paid at & before the Sealing & Delivery of these Presents the Receipt and Payment whereof the said William Jennings doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of Every Part and Parcell thereof doth Clearly Exonerate acquit and discharge the said Robert Kendrick his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assignes and Every of them for Ever by these Presents hath Granted Bargained Sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Grant bargain and Sell alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto the said Robert Kendrick his Heirs and Assignes for Ever All that Tract or Parcell of Land Called Kendricks Discovery scituate lying and being on the Draughts of Liquinore in Prince Georges County aforesaid Beginning at a marked White Oak running from thence South Seven Degrees West forty Perches North Six Degrees East Twenty Six Perches South four Degrees West Seventy four Perches North fifty Eight Degrees East thirty four Perches South twenty Eight Degrees East fifty four Perches North Eleven Degrees East One hundred (and) |
