       To Act of Assembly and the wife of the said Charles being Examined
       Privately and apart from her said Husband Declared that she freely
       and Voluntarily Relinquished all Claim and Right of Dower to
       the Within Named Daniel Dulany in the within Bargained
       Premisses without being Compelled thereto by Coercion of her
       Husband or fear of his Displeasure Taken before and Certified by
       one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the date above

       whom this present Writing shall Come Greeting in Our Lord God
       Everlasting Know Ye That I Samuel Taylor of Prince Georges
       County in the Province of Maryland Planter as well for & in
       Consideration that Mary my Wife do & Shall when thereunto requested
       make Over all her right title Interest Property & Estate She now
       hath or ought to have a parcell of Land Scituate lying & being
       in Prince Georges County & Province af.d Called & Known by the
       Name of Taylorton that is to Say part of the said Tract & Said to
       Contain One hundred & Twelve Acres more or less unto Thomas
       Gant Sen.r of said County as for divers other very good Causes &
       Considerations me thereunto more Especially moving have given
       & Granted & by these Presents do give Grant Assign & Sett over
       to my Daughter Virlinda Taylor One Negro Girl now of the
       Age of Sixteen Years or thereabouts Called Cate And to my
       Daughter Priscilla Taylor one other Negro Girl Called Betty
       Aged thirteen Years To have & to Hold the same Negro
       Girls Called as af.d Kate & Betty unto my said Daughters
