(7)  On the Back of the aforegoing Indenture was thus Indors.t
       vizt
                                  June 30.th 1731

           Then Did M.r William Hammond party to y.e within
       Deed acknowledged the same before me Benjamin Tasker
       Esq.r one of the Justices of the Provinciall Court of Maryland
       according to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such
       Cases provided

 x.d This Indenture made the Twentye first day of May in y.e
       Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Thirty One
       Between William Kennerly of Dorchester County and Sarah
       His Wife of the one part and John Lawson of the City of
       Annapolis Gent of the other part Witnesseth that the
       Said William and Sarah for and in Consideration of the
       sume of Nine Thousand pounds of Tobacco to us in hand paid by
       the said John Lawson we doe hereby acknowledge & therewith
       to be well sattisfied content and paid have and do hereby
       give grant Bargain sell assign and set over unto the said
       John Lawson his heirs and assignes for ever all that House
       Lott and parcell of Ground Lying in the addition to the
       City of Annapolis Known and Called by the Name of the
       Letter Q being one of the new Lotts made and laid out
       by Act of Assembly and Lying on the North East side and
       being the ^Back^ Lott of Hanover Street containing and Laid Out for
       one half acre To have and to hold the same with all &
       singular the Rights Benefits priviledges & appurtenances
       thereunto belonging to him the said John Lawson his
       heirs and assignes for ever And We the said William and
       Sarah Do hereby for us our heirs executors ^and^ administrators
       promise and Grant to and with the said John Lawson his
       heirs and assignes for ever that the said Lott or parcell of
       Land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto
       belonging is free and Clear from all Manner of Incumberances
       whatsoever And We our heirs executors & administrators
