Cash p.d   To all Christian People to whome this Present Writing shall
       Come I Abraham Birckhead Sen.r of Ann Arundell County in the
       Province of Maryland Send Greeting Know Yee that I the said
       Abraham Birckhead Sen.r as well for & in Consideration of the
       Naturall love & Affection which I beare to my well beloved Grand
       Daughter Elizabeth Birckhead my son Abraham Birckhead
       Youngest Daughter of Charles County in the Province af.d as also for
       Divers other Good Causes & Considerations me hereunto moveing
       have given & Granted & by these Presents do give Grant Confirme
       unto the s.d Eliz.a Birckhead A Certain Negroe Boy Named Harry
       To have & to hold the s.d Negroe Boy unto the Said Eliz.a Birckhead
       her heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs to her own Proper use & behoofe for ever
       without any Manner of Chalenge claim or Demand from me the
       said Abraham Birckhead or from any other Person or Persons
       Whatsoever for me or Authorized or Procured by me & with out any
       Money or Other thing to be Yielded therefore unto me the Said
       Abraham Birckhead my heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs And the Said Abraham
       Birckhead the af.d Negro Boy to the s.d Eliz.a Birckhead her heirs Ex.rs &
       Adm.rs to the use af.d Against all People do & will Warrant &
       for ever Defend by these Presents In Witness whereof I have
       hereunto set my hand & Affixed my seal this fifteenth Day of
       March Anno Domini 1734

                                              Deed of Gift is thus Indorst Viz.t
       Mem.d that on the 14.th Day of May 1735 Came the within
       Named Abraham Birckhead before me the Subscriber one of
       his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court & Acknowledged
       the within Deed with the Negro Boy Called Harry to be the Right of the
3 sides w.thin Named Eliz.a Birckhead & her heirs forever    before me
