       Joseph Hopkins his heirs & Assignes for ever & at the Same Time Margarett
       Wife of the s.d Gerrard Hopkins being secretly examined out of the hearing of her
       Husband Did freely & voluntarily confess that she Doth give up all & singular
       her Right title Dowry Claim & Demand whatsoever of & ^in the^ within Lands & Psses
       without any fear threats or Displeasure of her s.d Husband to be the right of the
       Afores.d Joseph Hopkins his heirs & Assignes for ever In Testimony whereof

       One Thousand One Thousand seven hundred & Thirty three
       Between Daniel Carroll of Duddington Mannor in
       Prince Georges County Gent on the one part and Charles
       Carroll Esq.r & Charles Carroll Chyrurgeon both of the City of
       Annapolis in Ann Arrundell County & John Diggs of Prince
       Georges County Gent the Major part of the Executors of M.r
       James Carroll of Ann Arrundell County Deced on the other
       part Wittnesseth that ^whereas^ the said Charles Carroll Esq.r Charles
       Carroll Chyrurgeon & John Diggs as Exe.rs afs.d Conveyed & made
       over unto him the said Daniel Carroll All that Tract or parcell
       of Land called Bigger lying in Calvert County granted to
       the said James Carroll by Patent of Confirmation September
       the Thirtieth seventeen hundred & Twenty Seven In Trust
       & Confidence & to the end & purpose that an Ejectment may
       be brought by them against the Tenant in possession of
       the said Lands in the Name of the s.d Daniel Carroll as by the
       Deed thereof bearing date the Tenth day of April Anno
       Dom seventeen hundred & Thirty & Recorded in the
       Provincial land Records of Maryland Lib.r P L N.o 6 fol
       375 Referrence thereto being had may appear Now this
       Indenture further Wittnesseth that the s.d Daniel Carroll
       for & in Consideration of the sum of five shillings sterl
       money to him in hand paid & satisfied by the s.d Charles
       Carroll Esq.r Charles Carroll Chyrurgeon & John Diggs at &
       before the Ensealing & Delivery of these presents the
