       for himself his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs Doth Covenant Promise Grant
       and Agree to and with the said Charles Diggs and Dan.l Carroll their
       heirs and assigns that he the said Dan.l Carroll the afd Messuages or
       Tenements Orchards and Backsides Pasturages Ground Meadows and
       Premisses above Mentioned with the Appurts to the said Charles Diggs
       and Dan.l Carroll their heirs and Assigns against him the said Dan.l
       and his heirs or any other person Claiming from by or under him shall
       and will Warrant and forever Defend by these Presents In Witness
       whereof he hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day
       and year first above written

Maryland fs   Know all men by these Presents that we Daniel Dulany
       & Benjamin Tasker of Annapolis Esq.r and Charles Carroll of the same
       Place Chyrurgeon are held & firmly bound unto the Right Honble
       Charles Absolute Lord & Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland
       & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltimore &c in six thousand Pounds
       Sterling to be paid to the s.d Lord Proprietary his heirs & successors
       to the which Payment well & truly to be made we bind our selves our
       & every of our heirs Executors & Administrators joyntly & severally
       In & for the whole firmly by these Presents sealed with our
       seales & Dated this Twenty Ninth Day of September Anno
       Dom one thousand seven hundred & Thirty three

       The Condition of the above Obligation is Such that if
       Whereas the above Named Lord Prop.ry by his Commission
       under the Great Seal of the s.d Province Bearing Equal date
