240 On the back of the aforegoing deed was thus written Viz.t Received this 9.th day of July 1733 of the within named Dan.l Carroll five hundred pounds sterling in full satisfaction for the Consideration money within mentioned I say received by me Witness Henry Darnall Jn.o Bradford W.m Pickett Maryland fs July the 25.th 1733 Then came the within named John Bradford before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court for the province aforesaid and acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and Deed for the use w.thin menconed 9 1/2 s.d Recorded 21.st Dec.r 1733 Jos Belt x.d This Indenture made the twenty seventh day of Nov.r in the Cash p.d year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and thirty three Between Dan.l Carroll of Duddington Mannour in Prince Georges County Esq.r of the one part and Charles Diggs and Daniel Carroll of Marlborough of the same County Gentlemen of the other part Witnesseth that whereas by the last will and Testament of John Bradford of the County afd deced bearing date the 26.th day of March Anno Domini seventeen hundred and Twenty six did amongst other the things therein give and bequeath to his son John Bradford and his heirs for ever one Dwelling house with a small orchard and backside also one Tenement Containing one Peice of Pasture Ground and ^one^ peice of Meadow and several parcells of Tillage lying ^in^ open fields near a Village Called Thirkinson in the County of Leicester in the Kingdom of Great Britain also all them parcells of Land being Pasturage lying near the Town of Stoke Golding in the afd County of Leicester then in the possession of the father of the afd Col John Bradford deced which said parcells of Land are severally known by the names hereafter mentioned Viz.t Wykin hole Olden Close Peggs olden Close also the dwelling house and orchard and all out houses and other improvements belonging to the said dwelling house wherein the father of the afd Col John Bradford deced did then Live referrence being had to the said will ^may^ more fully and at Large appear And Whereas the said John Bradford Legatee ^to^ of his father deceased has by Indenture bearing date the ninth day of July one thousand seven hundred and thirty three sold and Conveyed to the aforesaid Daniel Carroll of Dudington Mannour and his heirs for the Consideration therein mentioned all his right Title and Interest unto the ^before recited^ afd Lands lying in the Kingdom of Great Brittain left him (by) |
