(114) Maryland fs.t Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Balt &r To all our Bailifs and Good people to whom those presents shall Come Know Ye that of Our Special trust Grace we have pardoned unto Francis Boyd late of Prince Georges County labourer as a proper object of our Mercy the suit of our peace and whatsoever appertaineth to use for that the s.d Francis Boyd heretofore vizt the first day of May in the year of Our Lord One thous.d seven hundred & thirty two w.th force and Arms the store house of a certain Saml Magruder Jun.r in Prince Georges County af.d feloniously and burglariously did break & enter and five yards of India Goods Called Shalbaths of the value of ten shillings Cur.t money five yards of sprigged Chirts of the value of ten shillings Curt Money af.d five yards and three quarter of a yard of Spanish poplin of the value of fourteen shillings money af.d and four Doz and eight Mohair buttons of the value of two shillings money afores.d the Goods and Chattles of M.r William Sount Merch.t in London in the s.d storehouse then and there being found then there feloniously and burglariously did steal take and Carry away against our peace Good rule and Gov.rt and agt the form of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided whereof he was Convict before our Trusty and well beloved John Smith and John Fendall Esq.rs our Justices of Oyer and Term.r and Goal Delivery for our said County of Prince Georges and Grant unto him our firm peace and will not that he suffer any Corporal punishment therefore but that Nevertheless he shall stand and be in the same plight state and Condition To all intents and purposes as if the s.d felony and burglarily whereof he the said Francis Boyd hath been Convict had never been done or Committed Witness our Trusty and well beloved Saml Ogle Esq.r Gov.r & Comander in Cheif in and over our said province of Maryland this twenty fourth day of October in the Eighteenth year of our Dominion Annoq Dm 1732 Saml great Ogle Ross Cl Counc Seal x.d This Indenture made this fifteenth Day of September Seventeen hundred and thirty two Between Francis Hutchins of Calvert County of the one part and Philip Key of S.t Marys County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Francis for and in Consideration that the said Philip on the Thirteenth Day of October last part became bound unto George Plater Esq.r in the penal sum of Eighty pounds Sterling conditioned for the Payment of forty pounds Sterl with interest on the thirteenth Day of October Next ensuing at the special instance and request and for the proper (Debt) |
