(513) On the Back of the aforegoing Indenture was thus
Endorsed Vizt November the 10.th 1730 Received of the within named John Tailor the sume of Two hundred and Eighty Nine pounds seventeen shillings and four pence sterling being the Consideration within mencond Test I say rec.d p Edw.d Mitchell Geo Wilson Henry Evans November the 10.th 1730 Then Came Edward Mitchell and Grace his Wife before us the subscribers Two of his Lordships Justices for Kent County & acknowledged the within Deed to be the right of the within named John Tiler she the said Grace being first Privately examind according an Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided 10 sides Geo Wilson (Recorded the 2.d day of May 1731) Henry Evans By Virtue of a Power to me Given by the Honourable the Commissioners of his Majesties Customs in London to Collect and Receive the Outstanding Debts due to the Estate of John Midford Late of London Merchant Deceased to the use of his sacred majestic towards sattisfaction of a Debt due from the said Midford to the Crown I do hereby authorize and impower M.r Daniel Dulany of Annapolis to Collect and receive the said Debts and upon receipt of any of them to Release and Discharge the person or persons paying And Generally to use all proper & Legal ways and Means for Receiving & Recovering the said Debts Witness my hand & seale this sixteenth day of Aprill Anno Dom 1731 Witness present Charles Carroll J Rousby seale Benj.a Hance (Charles) |
