1730 Came the within Named William Beckingham and Acknowledged the within Deed of Release to the within Named Thomas Hockenhull his heirs and Assignes Agreeable to the true intent and Meaning of the Within Deed before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Provinciall Court of Maryland Geo Dent 11 sides Recorded qber y.e 3.d 1730 Charg.d (VD) x.d This Indenture made the second day of November Anno Dom 1730 Between Joshua George of Cecill County Gent of the one part and Benjamin Tasker Esq.r & Cap.t John Colvill of the other part Witnesseth that the said Joshua George for and in Consideration of the sume of three hundred pounds sterling to him in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said Benjamin Tasker and for and in Consideration of One Hundred pounds sterling to him in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said John Colvill at or before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents from the same and Every part whereof he ^the^ said Joshua George doth hereby Acquitt Exonerate and Discharge the said Benjamin Tasker and John Colvill and Each of them their and Each of their heirs Executors Administrators and Assignes Hath given granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents Doth give grant Bargain Sell Aliene Enfeoffe and Confirm unto the said Benjamin Tasker and John Colvill their heirs Executors Administrators & Assignes for Ever All that Tract or parcell of Land Called Chesterfield Lying and being in Kent County Containing Five hundred Acres more or Less Alsoe One Thousand and forty five Acres of Land part of that Tract of Land Called Middle Neck or Little Bohemia Lying in Cecill County Aforesaid and which said One Thousand and forty five Acres begin at the point the begining of the said Land Called Middle Neck or Little Bohemia and running from the said begining up Great Bohemia River and with the said River on a streight Lyne six hundred and Forty perches and then Cross the Neck to S.t Augustines Creek or a branch thereof and then with such Lynes and Courses to the said begining as to include One Thousand and forty five Acres of Land to be Bounded by the Water on Each side ^and^ to include all the Land Between the said streight Lyne and Water (with) |
