(379)    so granted to us we do hereby Nominate and Appoint Philemon Lloyd Esq.r
             to be our said Deputy Secretary who is to do and perform all things necessary
             to the Execution of the said Office of Secretary according to the Ten.r of
             our said Commission which we have herewith Transmitted to the
             Honble Benedict Leonard Calvert Esq Governour of the said Province
             of Maryland to be there Enrolled In Wittness whereof we have hereunto
             set our hands and seales in London this thirtieth day of January in
             the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Twenty Nine

    Maryland fs      Know all men by these presents that we Charles Calvert
             of the City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland Esq.r Benjamin
             Tasker and Charles Carroll of Annapolis afd Esq.rs are held and firmly
             bound unto the Right Honourable Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary
             of the Province of Maryland &c in the full and just sum of one
             thousand pounds Current Money to be paid to his said Lordship his
             heirs and successors to the which payment well and truly to be
             made we bind our selves and every of us our and every of our heirs
             Ex.rs and Admin.rs joyntly and severally for the whole & in the whole
             firmly by these presents sealed with out seales and Dated the
             Ninth day of may in the sixteenth year of her Lordships Dom
             Annoq Dom 1730

             The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound
             Charles Calvert whilst he shall continue in the office of Comissary
             General shall at his own proper Cost and Charge find a supply of
             good and Suff.t Record Books Necessary for the Entring up of all
             Matters and things relating to such Commissarys office and shall
