(368) Memorandum that on the 7.th day of
February 1729 Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court of Maryland the within Named William Cawthren who acknowledged the within Instrument as his Act and Deed and the Lotts and Premisses therein Mencond to be the right of the within named Amos Woodward his heirs and assignes for Ever According to the True Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided Taken & acknowledged before me the day and year Last Mencond Benj.a Tasker Recorded y.e 20.th February 1729 x.d Maryland fs.t Received of M.r William Tayler the sum of Eighty pounds Sterl and four thousand Pounds Tobacco being a Judgment with the Costs thereon I obtained against the said W.m Taylor in the Provinciall Court by taking said Taylors bond &c from which said sums I hereby Discharge the said Taylor his heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs for ever In Wittness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seale this Twenty Eighth day of October Anno Dom 1729 Signed sealed & Delivered Sha Feddeman seal In the presence of us Robert Johnson On the Back of the aforegoing Tho.s Nevett Receipt was thus Written viz.t W Ennalls Maryland Dor County fs Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court Thomas Nevett one of the subscribing Evidences To the within receipt and made oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that he saw Shadrack Feddeman sign seal and Deliver the within receipt As his Act and Deed and that he Likewise saw Robert Johnson & William Ennalls subscribe thereto as Evidences sworne to before me this Eighteenth day of February Anno Domini 1729 Roger Woollford Recorded y.e 20.th February 1729 |
