1727/8 Then came Captain Henry Mackett One of the Witnesses of the above power of attorney & Made oath on the Holy Evangalist of Almighty God That he saw M.rs Elizabeth Cox sign seal & deliver the same & also William Wallace subscribed the same as an Evidence in his presence sworn before us two of his Lordships Justices of Balty County Edward Hall Daniell Scott Annapolis Aprill 2.d 1728 Then Came W.m Wallace One of the Wittnesses of the within Power of Attorney & Made Oath on the Holy Evangalist of Almighty God That he saw M.rs Eliz Cox sign seal & Deliver the same Jn.o Welsh Zach.a Maccubbin Recorded y.e 24.th Aprill 1728 x.d Be it known unto all Persons by these presents that I Jacob Morland of Capplethwaite Hall in y.e parish of Kirkby Lonsdale in the County of Westmoreland Esq.r Have made Ordained Constituted Authorized & appointed and by these presents do make Ordain Constitute authorize and appoint and in my place & stead by these presents put William Hodgson Late of Charles County in the Province of Maryland Doctor of Physick my true sufficient and Lawfull Attorney Irrevocable for me and to my own use to take & receive full quiett and Peaceable Possesion and seizin of all those two severall Tenements |
