(248) x.d  This Indenture made the Twenty second day of
                August in y.e year of Our Lord God one thousand seven
                Hundred Twenty seven Between Charles Diggs of
                Prince Georges County Gentleman of y.e one part and
                Michael Taylor of Baltimore County Gentleman of y.e
                other part Whereas Notly Rozer late of Prince
                Georges County Esq.r made Publick proposalls of & set up
                a Lottery commonly called Rozers Two Thousand pound
                Lottery The Prizes whereof consisting amongst other
                things of sundry Tracts or parcells of Land And whereas to
                avoid any obstruction to y.e Drawing of y.e s.d Lottery by y.e
                s.d Notlys Death and that y.e advanturers therein might
                on such accident have y.e full benefitt of such Prizes as they
                should be intituled to by y.e s.d Lottry The s.d Notly did by a
                Codicill Duely Executed and Annexed to his last will &
                Testament bearing Date or or aboute y.e sixth Day of
                April One Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty & seven
                authorize and Request Col.o Thomas Addison & Charles
                Diggs afd or Either of them to convey and make over any
                y.e Lands Mentioned in y.e s.d Lottery unto such of them y.e
                Advantures as should be intiteled thereto as in and by
                the Codcill ^Codicil^ afd more fully appears And Whereas y.e s.d
                Michael Taylor is intituled to y.e Prize in y.e scheme of
                y.e s.d Lottery Numbered Ten Consisting of one hundred
                Acres of Land part of a Tract of Land Called Elizabeths
                Delight lying in Prince Georges County at y.e head of y.e
                Eastern Branch of Potomok River originally granted
                unto Col.o William Diggs y.e ninth day of March One
                Thousand six Hundred Eighty and Eighty for One
                Thousand Acres of Land as in and by y.e Grant thereof
                relation being thereunto had it doth & may more
                fully and at large appear w.ch s.d Hundred Acres of
                Land is Distinguished in a platt of y.e s.d Thousand Acres
                Dived ^Divided^ into Eighty Lotts by y.e Letter F beginning at a bounded
