Patrick Creagh y.e sum of thirty pounds Cur.t Money of Maryland being y.e Consideration money of Maryland w.thin menconed As Wittness my hand y.e day & year afd his Charles Carroll Patrick P Murphey Amos Woodward mark March 14 1726 Then Came before me one of his Lordships Justices of y.e prov.l Court the w.thin named Patrick Murphey & Acknowledged y.e w.thin Deed According to Act of Assembly in that case made & provided Also Came Sarah Murphey his wife who being privately Examined as y.e Law directs Declares her Assent & Consent to y.e w.thin sale to be w.thout any threats coercion or compulsion whatsoever of her s.d husband But that of her own free will & Inclination of he shall she consents & agrees to y.e w.thin sale & acknowledged y.e same accordingly before Record.d August y.e 18.th 1727 Benj.a Tasker x.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the Seventeenth day of May in the year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred Twenty and Seven Between Nich.o Ridgley of Cecill County Gent.n of the one part and Charles Worthington of Annarundell County Gent of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Nich.o Ridgley for & in Consideration of the sume of one hundred pounds ster money of grate Brittain to him in hand well and Truly paid by the said Charles Worthington before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt of which the said Nich.o Ridgley does hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and from every part and parcell thereof Doth freely fully and Absolutely Exonerate acquit and discharge & the said Charles Worthington his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs and every of them by these p.rsents forever Hath given granted bargained sold Aliened enfeoffed Remist Released and Confirmed and by these presents Doth give grant bargin Sell Alien Enfeoff Remiss Release and Confirm unto him the said Charles Worthington his heirs and Assignes for ever All them three Tracts or parcells of land Called Ridgleys Range Hunting Ground and part of Broken Land Lying and being on the East side the midle River of Patuxent the two first tracts lying in Baltemore County and the (last) |
