(214) Sailed from that place four or five ships to
Great Brittain And your petitioner not hearing one word of him there Concluded that he went on Board some of the said Ships and so got his passage to great Brittain And afterwards viz.t in May Provinciall Court last Your Petitioners Recognizance afores.d was Estreated which will prove a great loss to your Petitioners and even tend to the Run of some of them unless prevented by your Excellency who has ever remarkably signalized yourself by Innumerable Acts of Charity and Generosity Your Petitioners Therefore humbly pray your Excellency to Consider Charitably of their Case and in the Right Honble the Lord Proprys behalf Remitt to your Petitioners their fine as aforesaid And as in Duty bound they will always pray &c June 9 1727 In Consideration of the premises I remitt the fines to his Lordsp Cha Calvert 10.th June 1727 Recorded July 27 1727 x.d To All People To whome these presents shall come Rich.d Hill of y.e City of Philadelphia in y.e province of pensilvania Gent and Hannah his Wife send Greeting Know ye that as well for and in Consideration of y.e Natural Love and affection which they y.e said Rich.d Hill and Hannah his wife have and Do bear unto their beloved kinsman Rich.d Hill Doct.r of Ann Arundell County in y.e province of Maryland practitioner in physick as of and for y.e sum of Ten shillings of Lawfull Mony of a Maerica ^America^ unto them y.e said Rich.d Hill and Hannah his wife ^well and truely paid by the said^ have and Do bear unto their beloved Kinsman Rich.d Hill Doct.r y.e receipt whereof they Do hereby Ackowledge & thereof do acquit & for ever discharge y.e s.d Rich.d Hill Doct.r his heirs and assignes by these presence They y.e s.d Rich.d Hill & Hannah |
