212 any Generall Assembly or Assemblys and them to
Prorogue or Dissolve at your pleasure And Likewise in Our name with the Advice and Consent of Our Councill and the Delegates of the Freemen of our said Province in Generall Assembly convened to make and enact such Laws as you and they shall think Convenient for the Good Government of our said Province As Likewise to Repeal or alter any Laws whatsoever in the said Province as you with the Advice and Consent aforesaid shall think fit and Expedient Provided such Laws ^so^ to be made and Enacted be not repugnant to the Laws of Great Brittain nor destructive or inoading of the Prorogatives Royall Granted to the Lord Proprietaries of the said Province which Laws you are to Frammitt to us for our Confirmation or Disallowance And we do further by these presents grant full power and Authority to you our ^said^ Dear Brother to Exercise Execute and put in practice all and every ^other^ the powers jurisdictions and authorities whatsoever granted in and by the Letters Pattents of his Late Majesty King Charles the First of Blessed Memory unto our Noble Ancestor Cæcilius Lord Baron of Baltemore his heirs and Assignes in as ample a manner as if ^we^ were personally present in our said Province And Generally to do Execute and perform all manner of matters and Things necessary for the good Order of Government Administration and Execution of Justice the maintenance of Our Just Rights and Prerogatives and for the defence peace and preservation of Our said province and the Inhabitants thereof To have and To hold the said Offices Stations and Powers with all and singular the Rights Emoluments and Priviledges thereunto appertaining during our pleasure Observing Nevertheless and performing such Orders and Instructions as we from time to time shall send unto you our said Dear Brother Provided always that nothing herein before Contained shall be deemed Confirmed or taken to Extend to give any power or Authority to you our said Dear Brother to Do Suffer acquiess or Agree unto any thing by means or Reason whereof either we or our heirs may be impeached hurt or prejudiced in Our Royalties Jurisdictions Rights Title property or Interest of in and to Our said Province or any part thereof any thing herein before Contained to the Contrary thereof in any wise notwithstanding And Lastly We do by these presents revoke repeale and make void all former Commission given or granted unto Charles Calvert Esq.r our Late Lieutenant and Chief Governour of our said Province and all Commission or Commissions given |
