CHAPTER 95
(House Bill 1132)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 105B of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for
Sale," revising the times during which the privileges conferred
by certain alcoholic beverage licenses may be exercised in Wicom-
ico County, and making a correction in the language.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 105B of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," sub-
title "Hours and Days for Sale," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

105B.

In Wicomico County notwithstanding any other provisions of
this subtitle, the hours during which the privilege conferred by a
beer or beer and light wine Class B (on-sale) hotel and restaurant
license and a beer or beer and light wine Class D (on-sale) [generally]
license may be exercised, shall be from six o'clock a.m. to -tone
o'clock] two o'clock a.m. on the day following, Monday through
[Friday] Saturday, inclusive; [and from six o'clock a.m. to twelve
o'clock midnight on Saturday;] and at no other times.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal Section 205 of Article 41 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition, 1965 Replacement Volume, 1969 Sup-
plement), title "Governor—Executive and Administrative Depart-
ments," subtitle "State Department of Social Services," and to
enact new Sections 205, 205A, 205B, 205C, 205D, 205E and 205F
IN LIEU THEREOF to stand in the place and stead of the
section so repealed and to be under the same title, but to be under
the new subtitle "The Department of Employment and Social
Services"; and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
11 (a), 12 (a) and 12 (e) of Article 95A of the Annotated Code
