Licenses," providing for the substitution of corporate or club
officers' names on alcoholic beverage licenses in Wicomico County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 68(h) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle
"Renewal of Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
68.
(h) In Worcester County and Wicomico County notwithstand-
ing any other provision of Article 2B, any corporation or club hold-
ing any class of alcoholic beverage license may, during any license
year, substitute the name of one of its officers for the name of any
other officer on the license when the deleted officer has died, retired,
been removed from office, or no longer holds an office in said corpora-
tion or club. Said corporation or club shall file an affidavit with the
board of license commissioners showing the substitution of said
officer or officers with an explanation of said substitution. Upon
receipt of said affidavit the board shall amend its records and issue a
new license with the corrected names thereon. Said corporation or
club shall pay a fee of five dollars ($5.00) to the board of license
commissioners for such service.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal Section 19(1-1) (4) of Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1969 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Bev-
erages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," removing a
prohibition on certain sales of alcoholic beverages under a beer,
wine and liquor license, Class B, in Wicomico County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19(1-1) (4) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1969 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle
"Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed:

(1-1) [(4) A license under this section does not permit sales at
a dance. In no event shall a licensee sell alcoholic beverages in that
portion of the premises where a dance is in progress, or knowingly
sell alcoholic beverages to be consumed in said portion of the prem-
ises where a dance is in progress.]
