[within the Regional District] in Prince George's County and all
such land acquisition shall be subject to prior approval by the County
Commissioners for Prince George's County.

(f) At any time after such acquisition, the commission may trans-
fer the land so acquired in any case to any construction agency
of the State of Maryland, or to the county or to any incorporated
municipality [within the Regional District] of Prince George's
County, upon repayment to the commission of the funds so disbursed
by the commission for the land, plus interest. The amount of any
such repayment shall be placed in the land acquisition revolving
fund. If the land so acquired in any case is determined by the
state construction agency for the county or municipality not to be
required for public use, the commission may use the land as a part
of its park system, subject to the approval of the County Commis-
sioners but such use by the commission for park or recreation pur-
poses shall not be deemed to be a dedication for such purposes. If
the land is determined by the commission at any time not to be
needed for park purposes the commission may dispose of it in the
manner provided elsewhere in this subtitle.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to add new Section 25B to Article 36 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume, 1969 Supplement), title
"Fees of Officers," subtitle "Sheriffs," to follow immediately after
Section 25A thereof, to increase the fees charged by the Sheriff
of Harford County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 25B be and it is hereby added to Article 36 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume, 1969
Supplement), title "Fees of Officers," subtitle "Sheriffs," to follow
immediately after Section 25A thereof, and to read as follows:

25B.

(a) The Sheriff of Harford County may charge and collect these
fees:

(1)    For any action or service which involves only the serving of
a paper and is not an act of execution or attachment, a fee of $4.00.

(2)    For any action or service which includes an act of execution
or attachment, involving a seizure or a taking into custody of any
property, real or personal, or of any person, a fee of $8.00. If the
Sheriff incurs any actual expenses for the purpose of conserving and
protecting property seized, he shall be entitled to reimbursement
for such expenditures.
