Law," to require a home-improvements contractor's license for
each business location, to increase the fees therefore, and to in-
crease the home improvements salesman's license fee.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 254(a) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Licenses," subtitle "Home
Improvement Law," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
254.
(a) No license may be issued or become effective until the ap-
plicant pays the fee therefor as follows:
(1) Contractor's license, [regardless of the number of business
locations,] for each business location, for each year or part there-
of, including the fee for one salesman's license......[$25.00] $35.00
(2) Salesman's license, for each year or part thereof....................
.......................................................................................... [$10.00] $15.00
(b) Fees shall be collected as follows:
(1) For a certificate of the Commission under seal............$1.00
(2) For copies of documents on file in the Commission office,
per page..............................................................................................$1.00
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970 1971.

(House Bill 899)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 59-73
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
(1963 Edition and 1967 Supplement, as amended, and Section
70-79 of the Montgomery County Code, 1965 Edition, as
amended, being Articles 17 and 16, respectively of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), titles "Prince George's County,"
and "Montgomery County," subtitle "Park and Planning Commis-
sion," to provide that in the portion of the Regional District with-
in Prince George's County the Park and Planning Commission
shall delegate its authority to establish road grades to the De-
partment of Public Works within said county.
