(6) "Structure" means any object or thing, constructed, erected,
placed or installed above the surface of the ground, including, but
without limitation, buildings, fences, derricks, hay stacks, poles,
wires, towers and smokestacks;
(7) "Tree" means any object of natural growth.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 722 SEC-
TIONS 721, 722, AND 723 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Washington County (1957 Edition, being Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Washington County,"
subtitle "Wild Animals," as this section was SECTIONS 721 AND
722 WERE amended by Chapter 263 of the Acts of 1959, amending
REPEALING the local laws of Washington County concerning
wild animals in order to remove therefrom inapplicable references
to the payment of bounties for persons killing hawks or crows.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 722 SECTIONS 721, 722, AND 723 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Washington County (1957 Edition, being Ar-
ticle 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Wash-
ington County," subtitle "Wild Animals," as this section was SEC-
TION 721 AND 722 WERE amended by Chapter 263 of the Acts of
1959, be and it is THEY ARE hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

ANY CITIZEN OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, MARYLAND,
WHO SHALL KILL OR DESTROY A FOX, WILDCAT, OR
WEASEL, WITHIN THE LIMITS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY,
SHALL BE ENTITLED TO THE FOLLOWING ALLOWANCE
OR BOUNTY, VIZ: FOR EACH FOX, THE SUM OF $3.00; FOR
EACH WILDCAT, THE SUM OF $3.00; FOR EACH WEASEL,
THE SUM OF $1.50; FOR EACH HORNED OWL, THE SUM
OF $3.00.]

In order to obtain such allowance, it shall be necessary for the
person, or parent, or guardian of the person or persons, killing a fox,
wildcat, weasel, or horned owl [, hawk or crow,] to produce the skin
or skins of such fox, wildcat or weasel and the head or heads of such
[hawk,] horned owl [or crow] before the Clerk of the County Com-
missioners of Washington County or the county sheriff or a justice of
peace, and at the same time make oath in due form that the said
