levies or service charges, as in the case of public service
corporations, upon the written complaint of any one financially in-
terested therein, or upon the written complaint of the Montgomery
County [council] Executive or the Board of County Commissioners
of Prince George's County under such regulations as such Public
Service Commission may from time to time order and provide. All
appeals shall be taken within thirty days from the date of the promul-
gation or levy of any such assessment, tax levy or service charge by
the Sanitary Commission.

Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect on
December 7, 1970.

CHAPTER 338
(House Bill 357)

AN ACT to add new subsection (70) to Section 9 of Article 81 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume),
title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall be Taxed and
Where," to follow immediately after Section 9(69) to provide
an exemption from certain COUNTY taxes for CERTAIN prop-
erty owned by Maryland Jaycees, Inc. (otherwise known as Mary-
land State Junior Chamber of Commerce, Inc.) IN QUEEN
ANNE'S COUNTY AND PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new subsection (70) be, and it is hereby added to Section 9 of
Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement
Volume), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall be Taxed
and Where," to follow immediately after Section 9(69) and to read
as follows:

9.

(70) Property of any kind owned by Maryland Jaycees, Inc.
(otherwise known as Maryland State Junior Chamber of Commerce,
Inc.) and located in Queen
Anne's County.

(70) REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE MARYLAND JAY-
CEES, INC. (OTHERWISE KNOWN AS MARYLAND STATE
JUNIOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INC.) WHICH IS USED
AS THE PRINCIPAL OFFICE OF THE ORGANIZATION OS
WHICH IS USED IN THE OPERATION OF A CHARITABLE
NON PROFIT EDUCATIONAL OR REHABILITATION INSTI-
TUTION AS
EXEMPTED UNDER SUBSECTIONS (7) AND (8)
OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE EXEMPT FROM COUNTY TAXA-
TION IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY AND REAL PROPERTY
OWNED BY THE MARYLAND JAYCEES, INC., WHICH IS
USED IN THE OPERATION OF A CHARITABLE NON-PROFIT
EDUCATIONAL OR REHABILITATION INSTITUTION AS EX-
EMPTED UNDER SUBSECTION (7) AND (8) OF THIS SEC-
TION, SHALL BE EXEMPT FROM COUNTY TAXATION IN
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY.
