Counties, Maryland." Such endorsement shall be signed on each of
the bonds by the President and Secretary or the clerk or other execu-
tive head of the County Commissioners or the County [Council]
Executive of Montgomery County, as the case may be, within twenty
(20) days after the bonds are presented by the Commission to them
for endorsement.

(f) Guarantee by Montgomery County only. In the event that the
proceeds of any series of such bonds are to be expended only in or
for the benefit of that portion of the district that is in Montgomery
County, such bonds shall be guaranteed as to the payment of prin-
cipal and interest by the County Council of Montgomery County.
The guarantee shall be endorsed on each of said bonds in the follow-
ing language: "The payment of interest when due and of the prin-
cipal on maturity is guaranteed by Montgomery County, Maryland."
Such endorsement shall be signed on each of such bonds by the
[executive head of the county council] County Executive of Mont-
gomery County within twenty (20) days after the bonds are pre-
sented by the Commission to the [council] County Executive for
endorsement.

Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect on
December 7, 1970.

CHAPTER 337
(House Bill 343)

AN ACT relating to the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission
to re-enact Section 71-59 of the Montgomery County Code 1965,
as amended, and Section 83-110 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Prince George's County (1963 Edition) being Articles 16 and
17 respectively of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
titles "Montgomery County," and "Prince George's County," sub-
title "Washington Suburban Sanitary District," to authorize the
County Executive of Montgomery County to submit a written com-
plaint to the Public Service Commission as to the reasonableness
of assessments, tax levies, or service charges of the Washington
Suburban Sanitary Commission.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 71-59 of the Montgomery County Code 1965, as
amended, and Section 83-110 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1963 Edition) being Articles 16 and 17
respectively of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, titles
"Montgomery County," and "Prince George's County," subtitle
"Washington Suburban Sanitary District" be and hereby are re-
enacted to read as follows:

71-59 (83-110).

The Public Service Commission of Maryland shall deter-
mine upon appeal, the reasonableness of all assessments, tax
