3-4 thereof, to provide for the offense of hunting during the
deer season with gun or rifle in Montgomery County on the prop-
erty of another without permission, to provide penalties for vio-
lations and to provide for the enforcement of this Act.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 3-4A be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Montgomery County (1965 Edition, being Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Mont-
gomery County," subtitle "Animals," to follow immediately after
Section 3-4 thereof, and to read as follows:
3-4A.
(a) It is unlawful for any person to enter or trespass upon the
property of another for the purpose of hunting deer thereon during
the season for hunting deer with gun or rifle in Montgomery County,
unless such person shall have first secured from the owner or person
in possession of the property written permission to hunt thereon.
Any person hunting upon the property of another shall exhibit his
written permission to hunt thereon upon the request of any law
enforcement official or the owner or person in possession. Any law
enforcement official shall upon the request of the owner or person
in possession of any property on which there is hunting of deer
arrest any person thereon without the written permission of the
owner or person in possession. Violation of this section is punish-
able upon conviction by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars
($25) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500).
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 11 (a)
(2) of Article 36 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Re-
placement Volume), title "Fees of Officers," subtitle "Bailiffs and
Criers," to increase the amount a bailiff shall receive per day in
Anne Arundel County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 11 (a) (2) of Article 36 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Fees of Officers," sub-
title "Bailiffs and Criers," be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(a) (2) Bailiffs in Anne Arundel County shall receive [seven
dollars ($7.00)] fifteen dollars ($15.00) per day.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.
