Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Lavale Zoning Board in its discretion may contribute a
sum of money not in excess of $5,000.00 from the funds of the
Lavale Zoning District to the Lavale Library Committee, except
that funds which have been collected for another specific purpose
may not be so contributed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 56
(House Bill 458)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 29-4(a)
of Title 29 Baltimore County Code, 1968 Edition, AS AMENDED
BY CHAPTER 643 OF THE LAWS OF 1969 title "29 Baltimore
County," "Revenue Authority," to include in parking facilities
provision for associated facilities and building for office, retail
or other uses, in such section.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 29-4(a) of Title 29 Baltimore County Code, 1968
Edition, AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 643 OF THE LAWS OF
1969 title "29 Baltimore County," "Revenue Authority," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

29-4.

(a) The authority is created for the purpose of constructing,
improving, equipping, furnishing, maintaining, acquiring and
operating the following projects to be devoted wholly or partially
for public uses: Public buildings for the use of the county, airports
and landing fields; county institutions of every kind and character
(heretofore or hereafter constructed); INCINERATORS, bridges,
toll bridges and tunnels; parks, swimming pools, arenas, stadia and
recreational facilities of all kinds; dams, impounding basins and flood
control projects; parking facilities of every type and description ;, in-
cluding areas, structures and buildings for office, retail and other uses
in conjunction with such parking facilities;
highways, parkways,
traffic distribution centers and facilities necessary or incident thereto;
and public transportation facilities and systems of every kind and
description.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on July 1, 1970.
