Section 15. Section 101-2, Chapter 101, title "Slaughterhouses" of
the Montgomery County Code 1965, is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

101-2. Enforcement of chapter.

The director of inspection and licenses is hereby authorized to
administer and enforce the provisions of this chapter. For the purpose
of enforcing the same, the officers and employees of the department of
inspection and licenses, and the health officer shall have the right to enter
and inspect at any time during business hours any building, structure
or premises used as a slaughterhouse.

Section 16. Section 102-1, Chapter 102, title "Solicitors" of the
Montgomery County Code 1965, as amended, is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

102-1. Definitions.

For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases
shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:

Director. The director of the department of inspection and licenses,
acting under the chief administrative officer.

Solicitor. Any person within the county traveling by foot or con-
veyance of any kind from place to place, house to house, door to door or
upon any street or highway, taking or attempting to take orders for the
sale of goods, wares and merchandise or any nature whatsoever, including
magazines and other printed matter, for future delivery, whether or not
such person has, carries or exposes for sale a sample of the subject of
such sale or whether or not he is collecting advance payment on such
sales. The terms "soliciting" and "solicit" shall be construed accordingly.

Superintendent. The superintendent of the division of police pro-
tection.

Section 17. Section 102-2, Chapter 102, title "Solicitors" of the
Montgomery County Code 1965, as amended, is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

102-2. Enforcement of chapter.

This chapter shall be enforced by the director of inspection and
licenses and his department, the county superintendent of police and the
division of police protection.

Section 18. Section 106-2, Chapter 106, title "Taxicabs" of the
Montgomery County Code 1965, is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

106-2. Enforcement of chapter.

This chapter shall be enforced by the director of the department of
inspection and licenses, the department of inspection and licenses and
the county police and their agents.

Section 19. Section 106-49, Chapter 106, title "Taxicabs" of the
Montgomery County Code 1965, is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
