I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT BILL NO. 55-69 IS TRUE AND CORRECT
AND WILL TAKE EFFECT ON OCTOBER 11, 1969.

An Ordinance to repeal Section 17-702(b) of the Anne Arundel
County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 17, "Taxation",
Subtitle 7, "Miscellaneous Taxes", and to add a new Section 17-703
(k) to said Code, Title and Subtitle, as amended by Bill No. 5-69,
transferring the existing authority of the Shoreham Beach Special
Community Benefit District from Section 17-702 (b), and authorizing
said District to construct a new clubhouse.

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 17-702(b) of
the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), be and it
is hereby repealed.

Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new Section
17-703(k) to the said Code, Title and Subtitle be and it is hereby added
to read as follows:

Section 17-703

(k) The limits of this district shall be the subdivision known as
Shoreham Beach as shown on the plat records of Anne Arundel County
in Plat Book No. 10, Folio No. 20; Plat Book No. 10, Folio No. 37:
and Plat Book No. 11, Folio No. 11. The purposes of this district shall
be for the construction, maintenance, snow removal from and repair of
non-county owned roads, streets, alleys, sidewalks, curbs, street or road
signs, street or road lights, bulkheads, drainage ditches and culverts, to
provide for insect and pest control, to construct and maintain a commu-
nity clubhouse, and to maintain community areas.

Section 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Ordinance
shall take effect forty-five (45) days after it becomes law.

READ AND PASSED this 20th day of October, 1969.
