An Ordinance to repeal Section 1-215 (121) (b) of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1. "Ad-
ministration," Subtitle 2. "Personnel," Article II, "Classified Service,"
and to add new Section 1-215 (122) (d) to said Code, Title, Subtitle
and Article, to follow immediately after Section 1-215 (122) (c)
thereof, eliminating the position of "Pumper Operator" within the
classification of "Firefighter II," and creating a new position of
"Engineman" within the classification of "Firefighter III."
Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 1-215 (121)
(b) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements),
Title 1. "Administration," Subtitle 2. "Personnel," Article II, "Classified
Service" be, and it is hereby repealed.
Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new Section
1-215 (122) (d) be, and it is hereby added to said Code, Title, Subtitle
and Article, to follow immediately after Section 1-215 (122) (c) thereof,
and to read as follows:

Section 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Ordinance
shall take effect forty-five (45) days after it becomes law JULY 1, 1969.

An Ordinance to add new Sections 12-1900 through 12-1917, inclu-
sive to the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supple-
ments), Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and Inspections" to follow im-
mediately after Section 12-1810 thereof and to be under the new Sub-
title 19, "Gas Code," providing practical gas fitting regulations,
providing for the enforcement thereof, and matters generally related
thereto.
