(f) Advisory Committees.
The County Commissioners of Prince George's County shall have
the power to appoint from time to time such advisory committees
on recreation as it may deem necessary in furtherance of the powers
and functions herein granted; provided, however, there shall be at
all times a standing advisory committee on recreation which shall
be as representative of the citizens of the county as possible. Rec-
ommendations regarding the functions and membership of the ad-
visory committees may, from time to time, be made by the Board.
(g) Annual budget.
The Board shall prepare and submit to the County Commissioners
an annual budget, including a schedule of recreation activities and
programs. Review of the Board's proposed budget by the County
Commissioners and approval of the schedule of recreation activi-
ties and programs which shall be contained therein shall constitute
concurrence in the recreation activities and programs proposed
for any fiscal year. The County Commissioners may modify or change
the schedule contained in said proposed budget. The County Com-
missioners may direct the Board to initiate any recreation activity
or program and the Board shall initiate such activity or program
with reasonable promptness to the extent funds are available for
such purpose.

(e) Tax levy for recreation and conservation in Prince George's
County.
In each fiscal year beginning July 1, 1970, Prince George's County
is authorized and directed to levy against all of the property in
Prince George's County assessed for the purposes of county taxa-
tion, annually, a tax for recreation. Every sixty (60) days the tax
so levied and collected to date by the Cuonty COUNTY shall be re-
mitted to the Board. The proceeds of said tax shall be used by the
Board to finance its adopted budget for the purpose of regulating, op-
perating and maintaining recreation functions, programs, facilities
and personnel in Prince George's County as the Board may determine.
A tax of not less than five cents (50) on each one hundred dollars
($100.00) of assessed valuation shall be levied for recreation.

(d) Parks and Park land excepted.
Nothing in this section shall be deemed to affect powers and
duties of the Commission with respect to parks and park lands;
The Commission, however, may delegate to the respective planning
boards such powers and duties with respect to parks and park lands
as the Commission may, from time to time, determine. The Prince
George's County Planning Board is further authorized and directed
to provide a program of recreation within Prince George's County,
and to coordinate such program with the Commission's park func-
tions.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of reg-
ulating and operating recreation functions, programs, facilities and
personnel in Prince George's County, the existing Prince George's
Recreation Department, together with the functions, programs,
