thereof; to add new Section 41 (b-7) to said article and title, sub-
title "General Provisions on Issue of Licenses," to follow immedi-
ately after Section 41(b-6) thereof; and to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, Section 106 (d) of the said article and title,
subtitle "Hours and Days for Sale," providing for the issuance of
certain alcoholic beverage licenses to concessioners at the Ocean
City Convention Hall, and providing for the effects thereof; AND
TO ADD A NEW SECTION 25 (K) (1) TO SAID ARTICLE AND
TITLE, SUBTITLE "APPLICATION; FEES" TO FOLLOW
IMMEDIATELY AFTER SECTION 25(K) THEREOF, PRO-
VIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTAIN ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGE LICENSES TO CONVENTION GROUPS USING
THE PREMISES OF THE OCEAN CITY CONVENTION HALL.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 19(m-l) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and
1969 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine
and Liquor Licenses," to follow immediately after Section 19(m)
thereof; and that new Section 41 (b-7) be and it hereby added to
said article and title, subtitle "General Provisions on Issue
of Licenses," to follow immediately after Section 41(b-6) thereof;
and that Section 106(d) of the said article and title, subtitle
"Hours and Days for Sale," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments; AND THAT NEW SECTION 25(K)(1)
BE AND IT IS HEREBY ADDED TO SAID ARTICLE AND
TITLE, SUBTITLE "APPLICATION; FEES," TO FOLLOW IM-
MEDIATELY AFTER SECTION 25(K) THEREOF, all to read as
follows:

(m-1) Other provisions of this Section notwithstanding, in the
tenth election district of Worcester County only, a seven-day beer,
wine and liquor license, Class B may be issued to any concessioner
(whether or not a hotel or restaurant) granted a concession on the
premises of the Ocean City Convention Hall by the Ocean City Con-
vention Hall Commission, upon payment of an annual fee of five
hundred dollars ($500.00)
SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOL-
LARS ($750.00), subject to the approval of the mayor and city coun-
cil of Ocean City, in addition to approval by the licensing authority.
Such license shall authorize the sale and consumption of alco-
holic beverages at retail on the premises of the convention hall,
subsection (a) of this Section notwithstanding, during such periods
as the concessioner-licensee is authorized by the Ocean City Conven-
tion Hall Commission to make such sales. Provided, however, that
the hours of sale under such licenses shall not exceed the hours au-
thorized for such licenses by the applicable provisions of Section 106
of this article, and shall not exceed the hours authorized by the
Convention Hall Commission. All of said licensees shall purchase
all liquors and wines from the liquor control board for Worcester
County, and shall be charged therefor fifteen percent (15%) less than
the retail price of the liquor control board for such liquors and
wines. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the license fees shall go to the
general funds of the county and seventy-five percent (75%) of the
fees shall go to the town of Ocean City.
