make a choice of "set" or position in front of said property between
October 11 and October 21 inclusive of each and every year, and
clearly mark the same by erecting a stake on which shall appear the
license number and the licensee's name. Said stake shall be at least
three hundred (300) yards from the nearest licensed blind or blind
site and said licensee shall have the
SOLE right to hunt at said blind
site by means of floating or boat blinds or body booting only,
OR TO
ERECT AND HUNT FROM A STATIONARY BLIND PROVIDED
WRITTEN PERMISSION IS OBTAINED FROM ALL PERSONS
OWNING PROPERTIES ALONG THE SHORE IN FRONT OF
WHICH THE SITE IS LOCATED HAVING A TOTAL CONTINU-
OUS SHORE FRONTAGE OF NOT LESS THAN 500 YARDS, NOR
LESS THAN 250 YARDS IN TRIBUTARIES WHERE SUCH
YARDAGE IS ACCEPTED AS PROPER. , provided, however, a
stationary blind may be constructed if said blind site is at least five

hundred yards from the nearest licensed blind or blind site.

(c) All non-owners of shoreline may make a choice of "set" or
position between October 22 and November 1, inclusive of each and
every year and clearly mark the same as hereinbefore provided.
Said stake shall be at least five hundred (500) yards from the near-
est licensed blind or blind site
AND NOT LESS THAN TWO HUN-
DRED AND FIFTY (250)
ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY (150)
YARDS FROM THE NEAREST DWELLING, and said license shall
have the
SOLE right to hunt, at said blind site by means of floating or
boat blinds or body booting.

the landowner.

[(b) (D) (D) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OF THE PROVI-
SIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE IN the waters of Queen Anne's County
AND KENT COUNTIES, owners, lessees or licensees, shall have the
right to make a choice of the set or position as provided in subsection
(a) above on or before October 10 of each year, but after said date no
person whether owner, lessee, or licensee or any other person, shall
make a choice of the set or position in the waters above.]

[PROTECTION OF SHORE BLINDS]

[(c) For the protection of shore-owners, their lessees, or li-
censees desiring to locate a blind or blinds on their shore the pur-
chase of a license as herein provided and the establishment of a stake
on which shall be painted the license number and the name of the
licensee, such stake not to exceed the lawful distance from shore and
be established in the water when said stake shall be established on
or before October 10, then said stake shall be termed as a blind as
hereinafter provided. The licensee's name and number must appear
on all blinds erected if said blind is on the water or on the shore
bordering the water.]
