been cut off or plugged with a one piece metal or wooden filler in-
capable of removal through the loading end thereof so as to reduce
the capacity of said gun to not more than three shells at any one
time in the magazine and chamber combined, unless federal regula-
tions provide otherwise. It shall be unlawful to have a rifle OR
PISTOL in possession while hunting wild waterfowl. It shall be un-
lawful to use live decoys at any time. No waterfowl, except crippled
birds not otherwise retrievable, shall be shot while resting on water or
land. It shall be unlawful to use any airplane, sink box or sink boat, or
floating device towed by a power boat or a sail boat for the purpose
of hunting wild waterfowl therefrom [; provided, however,]. [It
shall be lawful to use sneak boat or bushwack rig on the Susquehanna
Flats and on the waters of the Elk and Sassafras rivers in Cecil
County and on the waters of the Potomac and Monocacy rivers in
Allegany and Frederick counties, on the waters of the Monocacy
River in Carroll County, on the waters of the Potomac River in
Montgomery and Washington counties, and the waters of Chinco-
teague Bay, Sinepuxent Bay, Isle of Wight, Assawoman Bay and
their respective tributaries in Worcester County. It shall be unlaw-
ful to use any decoy, sneak boat or bushwack rig (or any part
thereof) within 500 yards of any stake blind or shore blind in Har-
ford, Cecil or Worcester counties.] Any gun which cannot be habitu-
ally raised and fired
from he shoulder and any gun larger than num-
ber ten gauge, [or] rifle OR PISTOL of any description or crossbow
found in the vicinity of the area of wildlife shall be confiscated by any
officer of this State and delivered to the Director DISPOSED OF IN
THE BEST INTEREST OF THE STATE.

(b) It shall be lawful to use a licensed sneak boat or bushwack
rig as defined in Section 167 of this Article on the Susquehanna
Flats and on the waters of the Elk and Sassafras rivers in Cecil
County and on the waters of the Potomac River in Garrett, Allegany,
Washington, Frederick and Montgomery counties, on the waters of
the Monocacy River in Carroll and Frederick counties, and the wa-
ters of Chincoteague Bay, Sinepuxent Bay, Isle of Wight, Assawoman
Bay and their respective tributaries in Worcester County. It shall
be unlawful to use any sneak boat or bushwack rig (or any part
thereof) within 500 yards of any off shore or shore blind in Harford,
Cecil or Worcester counties. It shall be lawful to use a licensed
skiff, canoe or rowboat in hunting of wild waterfowl on the waters
of the Monocacy River and on the waters of the Potomac River in
Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick and Montgomery counties
and on the waters of Chincoteague Bay, Sinepuxent Bay, Isle of
Wight, Assawoman Bay and their respective tributaries in Worces-
ter County. Every licensee shall be required to paint his name and
license number on some prominent part of said
SNEAK BOAT,
BUSHWACK RIG, CANOE, skiff or boat in large legible letters and
numbers to correspond to license issued for said
SNEAK BOAT,
BUSHWACK RIG, skiff, canoe or boat.

[(b) The clerks of the circuit courts of Allegany, Frederick,
Carroll, Montgomery, Washington and Worcester counties, upon the
application of any resident of Maryland, being the owner of any
skiff or rowboat as herein allowed to be used in hunting of wild wa-
terfowl on the waters of the Monocacy and Potomac rivers in Fred-
drick County and on the waters of the Monocacy River in Carroll
County and on the waters of the Potomac River in Allegany, Mont-
gomery and Washington counties and on the waters of Chincoteague
