(recodifying with amendments, old 166), 168 (recodifying, with
amendments, old 167), 169 (recodifying, with amendments, old 168)
and 174 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Re-
placement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "Natural Resources,"
subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish"; be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments; and that Sec-
tions 155, 159, 162 and 166, respectively, of said Article, title and
subtitle, be and they are hereby repealed; and that new Sections
155, 159, 162 (recodifying, with amendments, 162A(a) ), and 166
(recodifying old 165) be and they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof,
respectively to stand in the place of the Sections so repealed; and
that Sections 162A(b), 172 and 173(a) of said Article, title and sub-
title be and they are hereby repealed and all to read as follows:

150.

(a) It shall be unlawful to hunt any wild waterfowl within the
limits of the State of Maryland [between the first day of February
and the fifteenth day of September in each and every year, both
dates, inclusive, and it shall be unlawful to hunt any of the game
birds herein mentioned on Sunday.] except on such dates as shall
be designated by Federal Regulations and, of further restricted
OR
by the Department of Game and Inland Fish, on such dates as
shall be designated by said Department.
IT SHALL ALSO BE UN-
LAWFUL TO HUNT ANY WILD WATERFOWL ON ANY SUN-
DAY.

(b)    It shall be unlawful to hunt, pursue, catch, kill, trap, shoot,
purchase, sell, barter or exchange, or attempt to hunt, pursue, catch,
kill, trap, shoot, purchase, sell, barter or exchange any wild water
fowl protected by Federal or State Laws or Regulations except as
otherwise provided in this Article.

(c)    It shall be unlawful to kill or have in possession any wild
waterfowl in excess of the limits prescribed by Federal
OR State
Laws and Regulations.

(d)    It shall be unlawful to hunt wild waterfowl at any time or
in any manner on either the land or the waters within the boundary
lines of [the Blackwater Migratory Birds Refuge located in Dorches-
ter County] any Federal or State owned or controlled Migratory
Bird Refuge unless otherwise provided by Federal or State Laws or
Regulations.

151.

(a) Methods of hunting. During the open season, wild water-
fowl may be taken only with a shotgun which is not larger than ten
gauge, which is loaded only with Shot not larger than that known
as B-B,
and which is fired from the shoulder, and by the use of the
long bow and [wood shaft,] arrow,, except that the use of the
weapon known as the cross bow is prohibited. Such wild waterfowl
may be taken on land or on water and the aid of a dog or dogs or
of artificial decoys may be employed. It shall be unlawful to hunt,
pursue, or kill any wild waterfowl of any species with or by means
of any automatic loading or hand-operated repeating shotgun capa-
ble of holding more than three shells, the magazine of which has not
