(c) Notwithstanding any limitation in subsection (a) of this
section or section 3-815, a dealer licensed to deal in new vehicles
may use his Class K registration plates on used vehicles held by
the dealer for sale.

§ 3-814. Fees for issuance of motorcycle dealers' plates (Class L.
Motorcycle Dealer).

(a)    Each year a fee of $30.00 shall be paid for the first 4 registra-
tion plates issued to a dealer for use on motorcycles, and a fee of $7.00
for each additional plate issued for such purpose to a dealer. Both
new and used motorcycles may be operated under Class L registra-
tion plates.

(b)    Such registration plates shall be interchangeable as pro-
vided in subsection (b) of section 3-813.

§ 3-815. Fees for issuance of dealers' plates for used vehicles
(Class M. Dealer, Used)

(a) Each year a fee of $35.00 shall be paid for the first 2 registra-
tion plates issued to a dealer for use on used vehicles, and a fee of
$7.00 for each additional registration plate issued for such purpose
to a dealer, except as provided in section 3-813 and section 3-

(b) Such registration plates shall be interchangeable as pro-
vided in subsection (b) of section 3-813.

§ 3-816. Fees for issuance of transporters' plates (Class N. Trans-
porter) .

Each year a fee of $70.00 shall be paid for the first 2 sets of
registration plates issued to each transporter of vehicles for use on
transported vehicles, and a fee of $15.00 for each additional set of
registration plates issued for such purpose to a transporter.

§ 3-817. Fees for issuance of finance company plates (Class O.
Finance Company).

(a)    Each year a fee of $35.00 shall be paid for the first 2 sets of
registration plates issued to each finance company or bank, and a
fee of $7.00 for each additional set of registration plates issued to
each finance company or bank.

(b)    The registration plates shall be used by finance companies
and banks only on vehicles repossessed by them, as provided in sec-
tion 3-601.1, and not on vehicles owned or operated by the finance
companies and banks in connection with their business.

§ 3-818. Fees for issuance of dealers' plates for trailers (Class Y.
Trailer dealer).

(a)    Each year a fee of $15.00 shall be paid for the first 2 registra-
tion plates issued to each dealer for use on trailers, and a fee of
$7.00 for each additional plate issued for this purpose to a dealer.
Both new and used trailers may be operated under Class Y registra-
tion plates.

(b)    The registration plates shall be interchangeable as provided
in subsection (b) of section 3-813.
