§ 1-168. Reconstructed vehicle.

Reconstructed vehicle means every vehicle of a type required to be
registered hereunder materially altered from its original construc-
tion by the removal, addition or substitution of essential parts, new
or used.

§ 1-169. Registered.

Shall include the term certified, whenever it appears.

§ 1-170. Registered dealer.

Registered dealer means a person who holds a valid license issued
under Part I of Subtitle 5 of this Article.

§ 1-171. Regular schedule.

Regular schedule shall be given a liberal construction and shall
include the carriage of freight, merchandise, or passengers of at least
one single trip per week for four consecutive weeks, or three single
trips within a period of ten days between fixed termini and if freight,
merchandise, or passengers are carried by any motor vehicle by at
least one single trip each week for four consecutive weeks or by
three single trips within a period of ten days, between fixed termini,
any one of such operations, as aforesaid, shall constitute a regular
schedule.

§ 1-172. Residence district.

Residence district means the territory contiguous to and including
a highway not comprising a business district when the property on
such highway for a distance of 300 feet or more is in the main
improved with residences or residences and buildings in use for
business.

§ 1-173. Resident.

Resident means (1) every person who is a legal resident of this
State, and every non-resident (owner, corporation, manufacturer,
dealer, used car dealer) owning, maintaining, or operating place or
places of business in this State and using motor vehicles intra-state
in connection with such business in this State;

(2)    Any non-resident who maintains a temporary residence in
this State and accepts any employment or engages in any trade,
profession or occupation in this State; and

(3)    Any non-resident who maintains a temporary or seasonal
residence in this State in excess of 120 days during the registration
year.

§ 1-174. Revocation of driver's license.

Revocation of driver's license means the termination by formal
action of the department of a person's driver's license or privilege
to operate a motor vehicle on the public highways.
