House Bill No. 1—By the Speaker:

An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments Sections 402 and
410(a) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition,
1965 Replacement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "Revenue and
Taxes," subtitle "Adminissions and Amusement Tax," to decrease the rate
of the Maryland Admissions and Amusement Tax with respect to certain
gross receipts and to provide for the distribution of the proceeds of the
Admissions and Amusement taxes collected under Section 402 of Article
81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, 1965 Replacement
Volume and 1969 Supplement).

House Bill No. 2—By the Speaker:

An Act making an emergency appropriation for the payment of the
expenses of the General Assembly of Maryland for the Second Extraor-
dinary Session of 1969.

House Bill No. 3—By Delegate Jensen:

An Act to add new Subsections (cc) and (dd) to Section 326 of Article
81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Supplement), title "Revenue
and Taxes," subtitle "Retail Sales Tax Act," to follow immediately after
Subsection (bb) thereof, adding sales of certain soaps and other detergents
and of ice, when used for household consumption, to the exemptions in the
Retail Sales Tax Act and thereby providing that these products shall not
be subject to the imposition of the retail sales tax.

House Bill No. 4—By the Speaker:

An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 of Chapter
553 of the Acts of 1961; and Section 2 of Chapter 736 of the Acts of 1967,
removing the maximum interest rate ceiling on certain Cecil County
bonds.
