1969] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES 15
EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT
Annapolis, Md., May 28, 1969.
Honorable Thomas Hunter Lowe
Speaker of the House of Delegates
State House
Annapolis, Maryland
Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17, of the Maryland Consti-
tution, I have today vetoed House Bill 367 and am returning it to you.
This Bill repeals and re-enacts with amendments Section 10(d) of
Article 51 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, relating to the selection of
Jurors in Carroll County.
Senate Bill 637, which was enacted by the General Assembly and
signed by me on May 2, 1969, repeals the same section of the Code and
enacts uniform statewide provisions relating to the selection of jurors.
Because of the inconsistency between the two Bills, and because the enact-
ment of Senate Bill 637 renders House Bill 367 unnecessary, I have decided
to veto House Bill 367.
Sincerely,
/s/ Marvin Mandel,
Governor.
