House Bill No. 1147—Farm Equipment on Highways

An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 310(a) of Article 661/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways," providing that farm equipment, implements of husbandry and motor vehicles, transporting said equipment or implements, may operate on any street, road or highway without obtaining a permit from the district engineer of the State Roads Commission.

The President appoints Senators Clark, Conroy and Hall a special committee on seating arrangements and office space and designates Senator Clark chairman.
