Honorable Marvin Mandel Speaker of the House of Delegates State House Annapolis, Maryland Dear Mr. Speaker: In accordance with Section 17 of Article II of the Maryland Constitution, I have vetoed today House Bill 1187 and am returning it to you. The bill would empower the Board of Public Works to offer for sale on a consolidated basis various certificates of indebtedness representing two or more State loans or installments thereof. The bill is a duplicate of Senate Bill 551, which has been signed and is now Chapter 593 of the 1968 Laws of Maryland. Sincerely, /s/ Spiro T. Agnew, Governor.
