AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 272A(j)
to the Code of Public Local Laws of Worcester County (1968 Sup-
plement), being Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Worcester County," subtitle "Pocomoke City,"
amending the charter of Pocomoke City in order to change the
definition of the term "Municipality" for the purposes of the re-
development and urban renewal powers of Pocomoke City.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 272A(j) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Worcester
County (1968 Supplement), being Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Worcester County," subtitle "Poco-
moke City," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

272A.

(j) "Municipality" shall mean [the Mayor and Council of] Poco-
moke City.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

the Department of Chesapeake Bay Affairs to waive certain provi-
sions of this section.
